Microsoft WORD Default Font
by Deb Sklar, UW Tacoma, Computer Services Newsletter
Are you changing the font and size every time you open a new WORD document? Here's a little tip from Deb that lets you change the default font from Times New Roman, size 10, to whatever you want.

    - Open Microsoft WORD.

    - To select the font and the size you'd like to make your default: Click on Format, then Font.1

1Editor's Note: A window opens within which you can select from several font choices as well as size and other characteristics. Select the font and characteristics you want to use as your default or regular font.
    - At the bottom of that window click on the Default button.

    - A window will pop up asking if you're sure you'd like to make the font and size you selected as your default. Click Yes!

That's it. You're done. Now, each time you open WORD, your font and size will no longer be that pesky Times New Roman, size 10. It'll be whatever you want! Not too shabby, eh?
