Are you frustrated by the
right-handed majority? Frustration begone! Computers are so far ahead
of spiral notebooks or your average pair of scissors that you can set up
your mouse specifically for a left-handed user in a few simple steps.
1) Click on the Start button in the lower left-hand corner of your screen. 2) Choose Settings. 3) Choose Control Panel. 4) Double-click the Mouse icon in the Control Panel. (You may need to scroll down to find it). 5) In the Mouse Properties window, select the Buttons tab. Click Left-handed. 6) Click OK. |
TOGGLE Editor's Note:
1 Warning to male chauvinists! iVillage is a woman-oriented site with many items relating to women's issues. (Gasp!) It also contains useful tips on using a computer, especially at the Beginner level, although many of the tips are also aimed at more experienced users. Perhaps we shouldn't have told you it is woman-oriented because if you let male chauvinism prevent you from visiting the site, you may miss a handy tip that could save your bacon, not to mention your male pride. |
