Sometimes simple hints
work wonders. We have all encountered a Web page where text is difficult
to read because of,say, dark text on a dark background, or because of a
particular, low contrast color of text chosen by the site's designer.
Next time you encounter

such a situation, try using CTRL + A1
to highlight the entire page. This should turn both background and text
a different color and make the Web page at least readable.
