Broomell King County Rep - Carl Tenning Beginner Routine Worth Repeating Old timers have heard it all before, may even have given the same advice to "newbies", but they're worth repeating again. Checkout the beginner article in the Beginner's section on easy steps to keep your computer running well. And don't just do it once and forget it. Beginning with Wireless Wonders are two articles on the "new" wireless network making use of equipment designed to 802.11b specification. This technology has taken off in the last six months to a year and is crowding out competitors on the same 2.4 GHz frequency band. While Gene is a salesman for Power Quest's utility software, the steps outlined by him make sense whether or not you are using the products he is touting. OPSYS Shakedown? We've all heard about technological shake-out where the best or most popular (not necessarily the same thing) products tend to survive while the less so disappear. In XP, VP, ZP, Burton Shane has some comments on Microsoft's new approach to fees for operating system software licensing. What do you think? |
