Symantec Antivirus Live Update

I suddenly had a problem on my laptop computer where Symantec Live Update would lock up and not complete the update. Even afterreloading Symantec Antivirus more than once, it would still lock up.    The problem was accompanied by trouble connecting to MSN dial-	up. I also suspected that my firewall might be blocking the Symantec Live Update.So I reloaded both MSN Dial Up and Zone-Alarm Pro, my firewall application.    This solved the problem. Now Symantec Live Update runs to completion.
