Recently viruses have found their way onto widely used devices: Apple iPods, digital picture frames, and TomTom navigation gear. In most cases, sources are from Chinese factories.
These viruses appear to be from lax quality control at factories. Apparently a careless factory worker plugs in an infected digital device into the factory computer for testing, infecting the whole system.

When a California man plugged a digital picture frame inti his computer to add pictures, the device triggered his antivirus (software which) alerted him to the threat. It was infested (sic) with four viruses.
We all have been warned about file sharing, opening suspicious attachments and downloading questionable files from the Internet. Now we have to be cautious when we plug a digital device in our computers. Another very important reason to keep our virus programs updated.
