No-Break Space
You can enter a no-break space in Microsoft® Word by Ctrl+Shift+Space. Words separated by a no-break space will be treated as a single word.

Cropping in Word
Cropping a picture in Microsoft® Word can be done even after the picture is pasted into the Word document. Just hold down the Shift key while you
drag the edge of the picture to crop it. Word doesn't actually delete the cropped area, but simply hides it so it can be uncropped later.
