Browser Hijacked? Fix It!
By Bob Thomson, Tacoma Open Group for Microcomputers
Recently my browser was Hijacked displaying a screenful of "useful" caregories to click on. I didn't want this page so I replaced it with my usual browser page only to have it hijacked again and again. Finally I entered the address line of the highjacking program into Google and was presented with a fix, namely to get and run CWshredder from www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/cwshredder.zip
To my surprise and delight, I discovered that I already had this program on my system. I invoked it, pressed the Fix button and it did its thing removing the annoying hijacker.

I had my own familiar browser back. Kudos to Google & CWshredder!
