UPDATE
Last Year's Slate Slated For Another Year
With his announcement of willingness to stand again for president of the Tacoma Open Group for Microcomputers , no other vounteers stepped forward , so Ray Mills will remain as President, Sandee Gimblett as Vice Presiden/Program Chair, Tom Stepanek as Librarian and Bob Thomson as your newsleter editor.

Wide Ranging Subject Matter
As in past issues, we try this month to mix in with our beginner and regular stuff some items that may not have occurred to you. Like dual-boot systems and recovering data from equipment other than a hard
drive--in this case a digital camera memory card

An ergonomic expert rings in with a couple of admonishments on good posture and taking a time-out or two. We go 'way back to 1982 to reminisce about early IBM personal computer--what it did and what it cost. Finally there is a review of a super useful Pocket PC.

But the first two items address Communicatiosn problems that two of our members have had. They discuss their problems briefly, one involving MSN Email and the other regaining control over a hijacked browser. In each case a solution to the problem is presented.
